For as long as we kids can remember, our lives have revolved around the family business; Importing beer, honey wine, vodkas and liqueurs from Poland and Eastern Europe.
Some of our earliest visits to Europe were accompanying our father on business trips. Also, thankfully, we got to know our family members in Poland quite well; many of our uncles and cousins made regular visits to Chicago and stayed with us in our home, in order to help our father with his business.
Before we were old enough to drink alcoholic beverages, we were selling them, delivering them, sampling them out and letting people know that Poland and Eastern Europe had many fine quality products, and we were proud to represent them.
In a nutshell, our beginnings have led us to our current venture, Stawski Imports.
From those early days, a part we still carry with us is our pride in our products… that, and the sampling out of our products to the people at beer or mead festivals, because there’s nothing like getting an immediate and positive response from the consumer.
You see, it’s not enough to have great products, we just have to let people know. Being there for someone’s first taste of Polish or Czech beer, or that first taste of Polish honey wine…there’s nothing like it. Our imports always pleasantly surprise consumers, and it isn’t long before our brands become fast favorites.
